Abbeyfield Community Church has been offered the lease on the old gymnasium building by Berechurch Road and Circular Road South.  Surveys are being completed, and we hope to have a Community Centre open by the end of 2013.  The lease and grant funding is being offered by Colchester Borough Council.

We are excited about this provision for people in the Abbey Field neighbourhoods.  We want this Community Centre to be an accessible venue for good activities for local people.

Until the building is available however we have the ‘AbbeyField Community House’ as a permanent venue at 170 Berechurch Road (the home of Richard Smith) which will be used for small community gatherings at Marlborough Place.
